In October we’re teaming up with Radio 4 Drama for a unique experiment, merging traditional broadcast with communal listening in a fantastically atmospheric setting.
We will be holding a gathered listening of Ring – a radio adaptation of the classic Japanese horror novel by Koji Suzuki, which inspired the infamous film. This will be an immersive audio experience, with the play mixed for binaural listening (3D audio listened to on headphones). The event will take place in the spooky setting of Bristol’s historic Arnos Vale cemetery, ahead of Ring‘s Halloween “Fright Night” broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
Ring stars Matthew Gravelle (Broadchurch), Eve Myles (Torchwood), Akira Koieyama (Rush) and Naoko Mori (Torchwood). It’s been adapted by Anita Sullivan and is directed by James Robinson (BBC Cymru Wales Drama).
This will be a very special In The Dark with a few extra surprises. With limited places tickets are likely to sell out fast so book early to avoid disappointment.
There will be a bar open before and after the event. Please note there is limited parking onsite.
