In the Dark Radio returns to the Manchester Science Festival, with a sonic exploration of food, cravings, and appetite. In a specially-commissioned work by the award-winning sound designer, Eloise Whitmore, In the Dark brings you gastronomic sounds & culinary noises.
Join us for an audio adventure through our mysterious desires. From the science of food to tales of hunger, we’ll explore the contours of craving.
Eloise is a Sound Designer with 15 years experience in audio production. She started life at the RSC Theatre in Straford-up-Avon before moving to Manchester to make Radio Drama for the BBC. She now works collaboratively with Independent Companies creating drama for all the BBC Radio networks and BBC Learning. She won RPA Producer of the year 2013.
