As part of Manchester’s Wonder Women season, this March we celebrate the Wonder Women of radio. At the iconic Central Library’s new performance spaces, we invite you to a sonic exploration of the wordy women – and womanly words.

Taking our theme from the Central Library’s ‘Reading Girl’ statue, we present a sonic exploration of the world of women, girls and literature. From the adventures of 19th century women’s rights activists, to the poems of hard working mothers in New York, this event will present our favourite tales of ladies and literature from the world’s most innovative radio producers.
