Pejk Malinovski is a freelance radio producer, sound artist, poet and the winner of our very first audio documentary award for his piece Everything, Nothing, Harvey Keitel.
It is a rare treat to have Pejk on this side of the pond so we hope you can join us for this very special evening! Pejk will be playing a selection of his own work and pieces that have inspired him to produce audio that is full of detail, charm and wit, sounding like nothing other than a Pejk Malinovski piece.
Pejk’s documentaries have aired on PRI, National Danish Radio and the BBC; his sound pieces have been shown in museums and galleries. In 2012 he launched the brilliant Passing Stranger, an audio walking tour of the East Village’s poetry history, narrated by Jim Jarmusch. He was also the co-creator and host of Thirdear, an online audio magazine and he continues to edit and translate books for Forlaget Basilisk, a poet-run publishing house in Copenhagen.
