In November this year, In the Dark very kindly allowed me to come and share my passion for conversations at The Invisible Picture Palace.

One of the ways I did that was by recording five episodes of my podcast Getting Better Acquainted there.

The episode I’ve chosen to share with you for this newsletter is in quite an unusual format for my show: a documentary/story that contains conversations. But it seemed a good introduction to my show because in it you get to know not only me, but many people who have whole episodes devoted to them elsewhere in the series.

To the Heart of It is about my family looking back at my father’s heart attack (which happened when I was 6) and his quadruple heart bypass (which happened when I was 15).
