What does sex sound like? What can those sounds tell us about identity, community and power?

This March we’re heading into a cocktail club in Shoreditch for a steamy night of aural delights. Adam Zmith is curating stories and sounds from the bedroom… and other places we like to get it on. Voices slide over each other, ASMR gives us tingles, mushrooms spurt, sex workers penetrate our ears, and audio porn inspires us to make our own pictures.

Adam is a multi-award-winning writer and producer, making podcasts through his company Aunt Nell about sex and LGBTQ+ history. He co-produced the series Press Play, Turn On for Audible, which won Podcast of the Year at the British Podcast Awards 2024. He is also the author of books on poppers and fetishes.
