Virginia Event
Thurs 24th Oct
Fact/Fiction
Black Iris Social Club

Inspired by this year’s RESONATE Podcast Festival, In The Dark and Sound Fields are hosting an evening of innovative, captivating audio pieces which blur the boundary between fact and fiction. RESONATE’s 2024 theme is “Docu-fiction”, so Talia Augustidis has scoured through audio archives to curate a selection of pieces that make you think, laugh and maybe even cry.

Talia is an audio producer and community organiser based in London. Her work has featured in festivals all over the world, from New York to Florence to Reykjavik. She is the creator of the podcast UnReality, which tells stories that blend fact and fiction. She recently won the Third Coast Award for Best Documentary Short.

An essay by Talia including interviews with some of the featured audio makers will be published on Sound Fields immediately following the show.
